Bio

Fiona Agababian is a young artist who is most interested in creating oil paintings that capture the bright intimate moments in life. Her subject matter is often places and people that hold personal attachment and sentimental value. She often uses pastel and warm colors and soft, expressive brushstrokes as well as including color contrast within her work. She is currently a student at Stony Brook University studying Studio Art, with a concentration in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking. She enjoys teaching art to others and has experience working as a paint instructor at Muse Paint Bar. She has spent her past summers as an arts and crafts counselor at a sleep away summer camp in upstate New York in which she worked along side children of various ages encouraging creativity throughout their art. In her free time, Fiona continues to build her art and incorporate elements from her own life. She illustrates an array of different emotions and feeling throughout her painting, using common themes of sadness, stress or just pure joy. By blending landscapes and portraits together, Fiona intends to create dynamic scenes that resonate to anyone who is viewing it.
